Liversedge and Hightown: today in Open Door fortnight

About the event

During Community Open Door Fortnight various local community groups would like to welcome you in to show you what they do, have a chat, and perhaps you might like to take part or become a volunteer.

Monday 5th and 12th October

Café at St Andrew’s Methodist Church 10am to 1pm

MAGIC chair based exercise at St Andrew's Methodist Church 11am to 11.30am.

Bingo Group at Mowat Court, Hightown 2pm to 3.30pm Booking required.

Knit N Knatter at St Andrew's Methodist Church 2pm to 4pm

Craft N Knatter at Liversedge Cricket Club 7pm to 9pm

Tuesday 6th and 13th October

Streetbikes at Spenborough Athletics Track, 10,30am to 2.30pm Mixed ability cycling session (adapted bikes available for all) £7 per person.



Photography Group at Windybank Community Centre 12pm to 2pm

Friendship Group at St Andrew's Methodist Church 2pm (*held on 6th and 20th October)

With most activities you can just turn up, but some do require booking so please check. Most are free but several ask for donations for drinks, and some have a set fee.
