Heckmondwike: today in Open Door Fortnight (Monday and Tuesday)

About the event

During Community Open Door Fortnight some local community groups would like to welcome you in to show you what they do, have a chat, and perhaps you might like to take part or become a volunteer.

Monday 5th and 12th October

Spen Shed at The Ponderosa Zoo 9.30am to 1pm
Crafts, woodworking and gardening skills for adults.

Tuesday 6th and 13th

Table Tennis at the TT Centre, Cemetery Road. 10am to 12pm 30 minute taster session. Booking required.

Planting session at Dale Lane Community Garden 10am to 1pm (*only on 6th Oct but please check)

Knit and Natter, Crochet and Chatter at Heckmondwike Library 1pm to 3pm.

With most activities you can just turn up, but some do require booking so please check. Most are free but several ask for donations for drinks, and some have a set fee.
