About this activity
Join ‘Get Set Goal’, a wellbeing service that forms part of the Health and Wellbeing Academy at the University of Huddersfield, for a workshop.
The team will deliver a workshop on ‘how to restart a heart’
and on ‘stress & burnout’.
Wednesday 10 June 2026,
2:00 - 3:00 pm
The Fields at Manorfield Infant & Nursery School
(Please use the entrance on Chestnut Avenue.)
Over 30,000 people suffer a cardiac arrest out of hospital in the UK every year.
The earlier a patient can receive CPR and a shock from a defibrillator,
the greater their chance of survival.
‘Get Set Goal’ is services that helps improve individuals' and communities' health and wellbeing by helping people achieve personal goals through informed,
positive lifestyle choices.
The stress and burnout session will cover the early warning signs of stress
and burnout in yourself and those around you. You’ll learn practical strategies
to manage stress, set healthy boundaries, and build habits that protect
your mental health and energy levels. We’ll also explore how to create
a supportive environment for others, encouraging open conversations
about stress and recognising when someone might need help".
