Cleckheaton Lawn Tennis Club is a little oasis where you can escape the day-to-day, get active, and meet a genuinely friendly bunch of people.

Come along to our FREE Wednesday Evening Social Tennis

April – September

6:30pm – 8:00pm

No need to book – just turn up and play!

It’s relaxed, welcoming, and a great way to meet new people.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or a regular player, our club has something for everyone:

2 hard courts & 2 clay courts

Social tennis & friendly doubles

Team play with league matches

Adult & junior coaching

Social events throughout the year

Adult membership is just £100 per year – that’s around £8 a month! A very affordable investment in your health and wellbeing.

Coaching

We welcome anyone and everyone to Cleckheaton Tennis Club. The best way to get started? Our coaching programme:

Monday after school _ Juniors

5-9yrs - 4pm

10-16yrs - 5pm

Saturday _ Juniors (intermediate/ improver)

11-16yrs - 2.30-4pm

Sunday _ Adults

Intermediate/ improver - 1pm

Beginner/ improver - 2pm

5-16yrs = £6 per session

17yrs/ adults = £7.50 per session

  • Wednesday 2 September 2026 - 6:30pm - 8:00pm, Free have a go sessions on Wednesdays till September.
  • Saturday 5 September 2026 - 2:30pm, Coaching - Saturdays - Juniors (intermediate/ improver) 11-16yrs - 2.30-4pm £6 per session probably till at least date shown but please check.
  • Sunday 6 September 2026 - 1:00pm, Coaching - Sundays Adults Intermediate/ improver - 1pm; Beginner/ improver - 2pm. 17yrs/ adults = £7.50 per session. Probably till date shown but please check.
  • Monday 7 September 2026 - 4:00pm, Coaching - Mondays after school _ Juniors 5-9yrs - 4pm;10-16yrs - 5pm .5-16yrs = £6 per session. May be till date shown but please check.
