‘All We Ever Wanted Was Everything’ is a new body of work from West Yorkshire-based contemporary artist Andrew Wild. Taking direct influence from the post-Industrial Calder Valley, Wild’s works poetically reflect the ephemeral minutiae of transient and incidental scuffs and marks; of scratched walls and weathered surfaces.

Reducing his materials to the fundamentals of conventional artistic practice - to graphite and paper, pigments and canvas - Wild has developed subtle, richly layered and delicately constructed works that document a tactile, material-focused exploration of Time, Place, and Self.”
