Morris Dancing with Slubbing Billy's (Slaithwaite)

Category: social and dancing; Slubbing Billy's are a mixed North West Morris side . The side was formed in 1986 making 2026 our 40th anniversary !

We have a reputation for lively entertaining dances and colourful costume ( we call it kit).

Based in the Colne Valley , you can see us dancing at local events , but we also travel further afield to Folk Festivals and other dance events.

We would welcome new dancers and musicians to join us to take this tradition into the next 40 years . Dance experience not necessary, as we can teach you. Please approach any of us when we are out and about, we are a friendly bunch.

We practice Tuesday 8-10pm at Slaithwaite Community Centre .
