About the event
During Community Open Door Fortnight various local community groups would like to welcome you in to show you what they do, have a chat, and perhaps you might like to take part or become a volunteer.

Tuesday 6 October 2026 - 10:00am - 12:00pm, Craft group - Free, but 50p donation for hot drinks
Thursday 8 October 2026 - 10:00am - 1:00pm, Cleckheaton Library Chess Group. - open to beginners. Free, but donations for light refreshments.
Cleckheaton Library Hub, Whitcliffe Road, Cleckheaton, BD19 3DX
Friday 9 October 2026 - 1:00pm - 4:00pm, Snooker from 1pm to 4pm. - All abilities welcome - Suggested donation £2. Also on Tuesdays from 6pm to 9pm.

Saturday 10 October 2026 - 10:00am - 2:00pm, Crafty Café - normally we meet 2nd Saturday. Free, but donations welcome. Occasional craft workshops - charges apply.

Tuesday 13 October 2026 - 10:00am - 12:00pm, Craft group - Free, but 50p donation for hot drinks

Saturday 17 October 2026 - 11:00am - 2:00pm, The Meeting Place - Warm space; hot drinks, food and activities. All ages and everyone welcome. Free but donations welcome. On the 3rd Saturday of the month (except 2nd Saturday of the month in December and closed July and August)

Tuesday 20 October 2026 - 10:00am - 12:00pm, Community Coffee Morning - held in the Church Hall. - different activities organised each month. All welcome. 3rd Tuesday of every month. Free but donations for light refreshments
