Kirkburton Beavers, Cubs and Scouts

All sections meet only during term time.

Cubs (for 8 to 10½ yr olds) meet 6.30 to 7.30pm Mondays

Beavers (6 to 8 yr olds) meet 6.00 to 7.00pm Tuesdays

Scouts (for 10½ to 14 yr olds) meet 7.30 to 9.00pm Tuesdays

Beaver Scouts, often shortened to Beavers, is the second youngest official section of Scouting operated by The Scout Association in the United Kingdom. The core age range for Beaver Scouts is six to eight years. Sections of Beaver Scouts are known as Colonies and are run locally by Scout Groups. After reaching the age of eight, a Beaver Scout will then move on to Cub Scouts.

Dates and venues

  • Monday 12 July 2027 - 6:30pm - 7:30pm, Cubs expect to meet on Mondays during term time until at least the date shown. Open to anyone between the ages of 8 and 10.5.
  • Tuesday 13 July 2027 - 6:00pm - 7:00pm, Beavers expect to meet on Tuesdays during term time until at least the date shown.. Open to anyone between the ages of 6 and 8, cost is currently £12 per calendar month.
  • Tuesday 13 July 2027 - 7:30pm - 9:00pm, Scouts expect to meet on Tuesdays during term time until at least the date shown.. Open to anyone between the ages of 10.5 and 14.
