Notwestminster is a free event for everyone who has something positive to say about local democracy and anyone who is up for the challenge of making it better. Join us for a day of collaborative workshops, inspiring lightning talks, creative activities and lots of opportunities for making contact with others who are interested in local democracy, citizen participation and civic action.

Notwestminster 2025 features interactive workshops hosted by members of our network and a chance to develop our ideas to improve our local democracy. Come along to get practical tips for changing the way councils work with citizens, take part in fun and creative activities, explore ways of finding common ground on difficult issues, design your own People’s Charter, learn from some inspiring examples of community action, and lots more.
