Meetings of West Riding Stamp Club (Lindley)

About this activity

We welcome anyone interested in stamps to our informal meetings which we hold monthly as detailed below.

We meet at the Liberal Club, Lindley. Usually the fourth Monday in every month or the third Monday if there is a Bank Holiday (BH). From 13.30 a.m. until 15.30 p.m. Refreshments available at the bar.

February 24 Members display subject X-Y-Z 9 sheets.

March 24 Trinidad Dave Druett visiting speaker

April 28 Value

May 19 (BH) Extended stamp exchange + 10 sheets any subject

June 23 Possible Auction or Members Display – 5 sheets. . (open forum self help/advice on items in your collection)

July 28 Possible Auction?

October 20 (BH) Members Display 9 sheets/one frame featuring a Monarch/President

November 24 Competition – 3 sheets, members to judge, marks out of 30, any philatelic subject, 50p entry – winner takes all.

December 15 Christmas meeting – bring buy/sell swap discuss collections and a reverse treasure hunt treasure hunt Bring with you 30 stamps which you will match to a list supplied
