Cleckheaton Writers Group

About this activity

Cleckheaton Writers Group meets fortnightly on a Monday evening 5.30pm to 7pm . Please see the website (minutes of last meeting under Blog Archive) or contact us for the date of the next meeting.

We cover all aspects of writing, and organise outings to author talks, workshops and literary events. We are a friendly group and no-one has to share their work until they are ready.

It is free to join, and both new and experienced writers are welcome. Currently we have places for new members. Our members include an ex-journalist, published writers, playwright, screenwriter, novice writers and poets.
