Sonar Session - live music event in Slaithwaite

About the event

Monthly live music events in the genres of world, jazz, soul, acoustic & folk. Each Sonar Session will present a lineup of captivating live acts; showcasing established artists alongside emerging local talent.

Taking place at The Watershed a venue, creative hub and participatory arts space in the centre of the idillic village of Slaithwaite with onsite bar and cabaret style seating.

  • Sunday 26 April 2026 - 6:30pm - 10:00pm, Doors 6:30pm. Hannah Rowe - the young singer offers listeners a sense of reflection within her rich, authentic, jazz-infused sound. Also Slo Blome - with banjo, cello, and guitar they reimagine folk with fearless invention.
  • Sunday 31 May 2026 - 6:30pm - 10:00pm, Doors 6:30pm. Yvonne Lyon and Boo Hewerdine - Yvonne is among the UK’s brightest and best singer songwriters, and Boo is an acclaimed award-winning English singer-songwriter. They have formed an inimitable songwriting partnership
