Friday 27 March 2026 - 8:00pm, The Bar-Steward Sons of Val Doonican - far from being your typical folk ensemble, this cult-like collective of like-minded knit-wear enthusiasts are determined to follow in their spiritual father’s immortal footsteps and keep his legacy alive.
Thursday 2 April 2026 - 1:30pm, Little Red Riding Hood - Join Panto Ever After for our spectacular Easter Pantomime, Perfect for ages 4-12yrs and their families – book now for an egg-citing Easter treat.
Thursday 2 April 2026 - 7:30pm, Poet John McAuliffe will read from a selection of his work, and talk about his inspiration and influences. McAuliffe is an Irish poet, who has lived in Manchester since 2004. Includes book signing and sales. Free - book online.
Friday 3 April 2026 - 7:00pm, Top of the Wold - Tales from a Mobile Library: Mikron's brand-new play, bursting with original songs, invites you to join the East Riding Mobile Library in a celebration of community, culture, caravans, and peas.
Friday 17 April 2026 - 7:30pm, Author event with Robin Ince with his latest book, ‘Normally Weird and Weirdly Normal’. Robin asks what the point of “being normal” really is. Packed with personal insights, this is a quirky and witty dive into the world of human behaviour.
Sunday 19 April 2026 - 2:00pm, Silent films with live music: Local musicians Susannah Simmons and Jonny Best with a comedy compilation (Laurel and Hardy, Charlie Chaplin, Felix the Cat) and the 1926 adventure-romance, Son of the Sheik, starring Rudolph Valentino.
Saturday 25 April 2026 - 7:00pm, Marsden Cuckoo Day Evening Party with Marsden Swing & Marsden No.1 Sound. Doors and bar open 7pm.
Friday 8 May 2026 - 8:00pm, Loved up festival vibes come early to the Mechanics with ECLECTICA a truly special night featuring acclaimed Afro-beat, Psychedelic Funk Punk and New Orleans Riot Jazz artists along side local folk rock and eclectic DJs
Saturday 9 May 2026 - 8:00pm, KLONK are an 8-piece party & festival band from the hills and valleys of Yorkshire. They take traditional Eastern European melodies and mash them up with funk, metal, disco and hip-hop to create kick ass gypsy funk
