Brighouse Scottish Country Dancing Club

Category: Dances and social We are a Scottish dancing club which meets every Thursday from 7.30 to 9.30pm at Waring Green Community Centre, Brighouse (entrance in Marion St.). We also have a monthly Saturday dance. Dancers old and new are always welcome - no partner needed. Please see our website for more details.

Open Evenings are held once a month, usually on the second Saturday. We dance from 7.30pm to 10.30pm to recorded music, and the £8 ticket includes supper. Two or three times a year we have a band and the ticket may cost slightly more.

Dates and venues

  • Saturday 11 November 2023 - 7:30pm, Monthly Saturday dance, usually on the 2nd Saturday of the month, may take place till at least the date shown, but please check website under Further Information.
  • Thursday 16 November 2023 - 7:30pm, Weekly Thursday dance may take place till at least the date shown, but please check website under Further Information for any changes. (No dance on 22 December 2022)
