Holocaust Centre North

About this activity

Holocaust Centre North, formerlyThe Holocaust Exhibition and Learning Centre has been based in the University of Huddersfield since 2018. It has an ongoing series of talks and exhibitions to maintain the memory of the Holocaust so that future generations can learn about the dangers of intolerance.

The Centre is currently open Monday - Thursday 10am - 5pm., however please check the Visit page of our website for latest details and details of the permanent exhibition.

The exhibition 'Through Our Eyes' is about 16 children and young people who survived Nazi persecution across Europe in the 1930s and 1940s. They came to the north of England as refugees or survivors of the Holocaust, settled and made new lives here.

There may also be temporary exhibitions or features. We host regular meetings and events. Please check our events page on our website for more information.
