Groups for older people (Sheepridge, Huddersfield)

About this activity

Categories: social; health and well being A range of groups and activities enable older people to maintain or improve their fitness (our exercise programme is supported by Age UK), meet new people, develop new skills and lead more fulfilling lives. Older people living with dementia are most welcome to attend with their carer and join in the fun.

Happy Wednesday – members enjoy ‘aerobics for mature movers’
Thursday Friends – members enjoy a lunch club with activities, gentle exercises, a raffle and bingo
Friday Friends – members enjoy a lunch club, raffle and bingo
Volunteering opportunities for continued contribution and activity within the community

Happy Wednesday’s runs 9.45am-11am weekly

Thursday Friends runs 11am-1.30pm weekly

Friday Friends runs 11am-1.30pm weekly

All groups take place at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish rooms, Sheepridge HD2 1HF.
