'A Woman's Work Is Never Done' - exhibition at Tolson Museum

About this activity

A photographic exhibition exploring the working lives of women from across West Yorkshire during the 19th and early 20th centuries. From rag sorters to bomb makers, discover the limitations placed on women's work and the opportunities created by the First World War.

This exhibition draws extensively from the Kirklees Image Archive, our digitised collection of over 60,000 images: www.kirkleesimages.org.uk
