Colne Valley Museum, a Grade II listed building, is housed in four cottages built in the 1840s by a family of independent cloth manufacturers, the Pearsons, whose relatives still live in Golcar today. Local rooms and crafts in period setting of the 1850s. Regular special exhibitions and event weekends.

Open Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays, 12pm to 4pm.

**n.b. closed from December 11th 2022 - reopens 21st January 2023.

Admission charges (2021) are as follows:

All Adults £3.00;; All accompanied children free.
