Faure Requiem: and other Sacred Choral Music (Huddersfield)

About the event

Exploring the world of sacred choral music, we will explore a programme featuring works by Bruckner, Stanford, Tallis, and more.

The Choir will then join forces with the HUMS orchestra for an all Fauré second half featuring Pavané and Cantique de Jean Racine conducted by our Assistant Director of Music Oliver Gorton

The evening will culminate with a performance of Fauré's eitherial Requiem, featuring the choir, orchestra, and soloists for a performance of amazing student music conducted by our inspirational Director of Music , Grace Middleton.

We are delighted that we will be joined by students from Musica Kirklees providing an opportunity for talented young musicians to play alongside university students.
