An evening with Rory Underwood and Lea Roberts
We’re delighted to announce that our upcoming Sportsman’s Dinner will feature an exceptional guest speaker: rugby legend Rory Underwood. With his extraordinary career both on and off the pitch, Rory is guaranteed to bring energy, insight and entertaining stories to our evening.

Rory made his debut for England national rugby union team in 1984 and went on to earn 85 international caps between 1984–1996, scoring 49 tries for England, making him the country’s all-time leading try-scorer for the men’s team. At club level with Leicester Tigers (1983-1997) he played 236 games and scored a remarkable haul of 134 tries. He represented the British & Irish Lions on two major tours (1989 and 1993), playing in six Test matches.

We invite all players, supporters, sponsors and the public to join us for what promises to be one of the standout events of the year. With Rory Underwood’s presence, we’re not just hosting a dinner — we’re celebrating the spirit of our club, the game we love and the future we’re building together.

The evening will include a 3 course meal, raffle and auction. Come along to hear from the sporting legend.
