National Play Day 2026 event at Beaumont Park, Huddersfield

About the event

Playday occurs every year on the first Wednesday in August and is a campaign held to celebrate the importance of Play in children's lives.

Park full of Free things for the Children to do, free face painting, Circus Skills, Craft Workshops plus lots more.

There will be free picnic bags for the children and fruit skewers.
We will be serving other food at a minimumal cost. Visitors Centre will also be open serving food.
Come along and let the kids have a fun packed day.

We will also be serving food with children's food at much reduced prices.

Free family fun. Inclusive and wheelchair accessible. All children are welcome to come along and join in!
