About the event
A monthly true story open mic night where real people tell true stories loosely exploring the month's theme. Each month 5-7 storytellers have 3-5 minutes each to tell their true story. Stories might be told through prose, poetry, or something in between. We welcome pieces from writers, poets, storytellers, and anyone with a good story to tell whether they consider themselves a writer or not. People are welcome to join us to share a story or to listen.
Free refreshments are served. Thanks to funding from Community Plus, we are able to offer even more refreshments every other month (starting in July!)
For a 3-5 minute open mic slot, contact Yvonne
