The Holocaust Exhibition and Learning Centre holds regular events. These are mostly interesting talks about various aspects of the Holocaust and also a documentary films.

Dates and venues

  • Wednesday 15 March 2023 - 5:00pm, At Holocaust Centre North. Rebuilding Lives - expert talk on the Ugandan Asian crisis to coincide with the Exhibition on those who fled to Yorkshire 50 years ago.
  • Wednesday 22 March 2023 - 5:00pm, At Holocaust Centre North. The Pre-war Nazi Camps and their images - talk based on study of the images of camps from the 30s compared to later.
  • Thursday 23 March 2023 - 12:30pm, At Holocaust Centre North. Through Our Eyes: Holocaust Survivors’ Experiences from the North of England - join the editors of this anthology of previously unpublished testimony from those who settled in the North of England.
  • Wednesday 29 March 2023 - 4:00pm, At Holocaust Centre North. Talk and book launch about the story of Gideon Klein, talented young Czech composer and musician, murdered by the SS.
