Guided Walk with Discover Huddersfield

About the event

We at Discover Huddersfield are excited to be able to offer a Guided Walks programme each year and hope that you will join us to experience some of the wondrous sites and heritage of Huddersfield town centre and surrounding areas.

We are very pleased to be able to offer a programme of 20 guided walks between March and October 2025 (including Heritage Open Days events).

Ticket prices are £5 per walk (except free Heritage Open Day events) and this includes the charge Eventbrite makes for its services.

*All walks must be pre-booked on Eventbrite.
Bookings can be made up to 14 days before each walk.

Walks have different starting places. Walk titles are listed under Dates and Venues but please click on the link under Further Information for full details and to book.

Dates and venues

  • Sunday 28 June 2026 - 2:30pm, Tickets £5 must be pre-booked on Eventbrite. Today's walk is Exploring Beaumont Park..
  • Sunday 5 July 2026 - 2:30pm, Tickets £5 must be pre-booked on Eventbrite. Today's walk is Georgian Huddersfield.
  • Sunday 19 July 2026 - 2:30pm, Tickets £5 must be pre-booked on Eventbrite. Today's walk is Historic Kirkburton Walk and Graveyard.
  • Sunday 9 August 2026 - 2:30pm, Tickets £5 must be pre-booked on Eventbrite. Today's walk is Huddersfield Narrow Canal and Railway - Marsden to Tunnel End
  • Sunday 6 September 2026 - 2:30pm, Tickets £5 must be pre-booked on Eventbrite. Today's walk is Tolson: an Historic House.
