Suffragette March Story Walks (aged 7+) Meltham and Huddersfield

About the event

March with us on an empowering storywalk celebrating Votes for Women. Discover more about the people who risked so much to fight for the right to vote. Bring your own banner.

Inspired by “Suffragette” by David Roberts, an exquisitely illustrated history of the women's suffrage movement that tells a tale of astounding bravery, ingenuity and strength, bringing to life the many vivid characters of the women's suffrage movement – from the militant activist and wheelchair user Rosa May Billinghurst to the world-famous Emmeline Pankhurst, Millicent Fawcett and Emily Wilding Davison.

Recommended for age 7+. Dress for the weather!
