  2. As well as our regular weekly markets, from time to time Kirklees Markets organise various specialist markets, as well as other activities, especially towards Christmas.

    For details of these please see the list under Events.

    Kirklees markets enliven our town centres, attract visitors to the area and give our regular shoppers an experience of something a little different.

    Weekly Markets

    Cleckheaton Market Hall open Monday to Saturday, plus monthly Farmers Market on the first Saturday every month (except January)

    Dewsbury Market general markets Wednesday and Saturday, secondhand markets Friday

    Holmfirth Market, open Thursday and Saturday

    Huddersfield Market, general markets Monday and Thursday; secondhand markets Tuesday and Saturday

    Queensgate Indoor Market - now closed permanently.
