  2. Meltham Memories Wartime Weekend, to be held on the 5th, 6th and 7th July 2013, has released the figure it has raised for its nominated charity - Help for Heroes - a fantastic £2465.34!

The Meltham Memories Committee holds meetings every month in between their working schedules in order to plan and deliver the event every year, and make it as enjoyable as they can for the Meltham Community.

The full itinerary of the Wartime Weekend will be available on the website from the beginning of June.

Local councillor and Town Mayor of Meltham, Terry Lyons said, Meltham Memories is now arguably the biggest event in the Township of Meltham. It encourages participation from all members of the community, attracting many local folk and people from far and wide.

It's surely an annual celebration that must be supported and it will continue to reach even higher targets in entertaining the vast crowds of people in the village not for just this year but over the coming years.
