About the event

Talk by Alan Brooke

Alan is a local historian and retired archaeologist with a particular interest in the industrial revolution.
He is also a member of the Yorkshire Naturalists Union and author of a biography of Seth Lister Mosley, the first curator of Tolson Museum.

This talk looks at the contribution of Mosley and other local naturalists to our knowledge of the changing natural history of the area from the 1840s to the 1940s.
