Introducing...an exhibition of printmaking talent

About this activity

**Please note: Till September 15th the exhibition is open Mondays and Thursdays 10:30am to 1:30pm .

Then from 19th to 23rd September it is open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3pm.

Introducing Fleur Ward, Bachittar Singh, Holly Clayton and Maria Gomez – new UK printmaking talent from West Yorkshire Print Workshop and the University of Huddersfield.

The exhibition is open 18th August to 15th September on Mondays and Thursdays 10:30am-1:30pm with extended opening hours from 19th September for welcome week when it is open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3pm.

It is at the Bath House Gallery, the Toast House (Sovereign Design House) on the University of Huddersfield campus.

Showcasing some of the best young printmakers in the North of England, this exhibition seeks to spotlight upcoming talent and give a platform to exhibit new work and an insight into printmaking practices.

This body of work from four artists explores representation, identity, portraiture, organic forms and the natural world. Using a range of printmaking processes from etching and aquatint to screen printing, lino, digital printing and spore printing from mushrooms, the exhibition stretches thinking and showcases new talent.
