About the event
Friends of Honley Library welcome you to a talk by the author of 'Finding Banks': A Honley House, a family business and a lost community.
Published by Honley Civic Society in 2020, ‘Finding Banks’ tells the story of one small part of our village. Angela Marshall will speak about how the book came into being through a series of remarkable chances, before introducing you to some of Honley’s past residents.
Light refreshments will be available.
There are no restrictions on numbers but space is limited. Whilst we will try to allow people to sit apart, we also ask for everyone to respect the
feelings of others.
The event is free but donations to Friends of Honley Library are welcome.
