About the event
Telling it Like it's Lived is a true story open mic night. Each month, readers, writers, and anyone with a good story to tell, share their true stories loosely exploring the month's themes. Pieces might be prose, poetry, or something in between. As long as they are true, we accept stories in all of their forms.
Sponsored by Kirklees Libraries and supported by Kirklees Community Cohesion Team (Dewsbury), the event is organized by host, novelist, Yvonne Battle-Felton.
It's a free event, light refreshments are served. All (over 18) are welcome to join to listen to stories.
For a 3-5 minute true story open mic night, contact Yvonne. No tickets required.
