Art at the House weekend (Cliffe House, Shepley)

About the event

ArtattheHouse returns to Cliffe House in Shepley for its 3rd year, promising two days of creative, interactive experiences combined with good food and drink, children's activities and music.

Free entry.

Meet the makers, local artists, craftspeople, designers and makers.

Try a new skill, hands-on workshops and children's activities.

Buy outstanding original Art, ceramics, jewellery, paintings, prints, textiles, mixed-media works and wood sculptures all on display in The Coach House and woodlands.

Discover: explore the woods, follow the Art Trail, dip into soundscapes and discover 'artistic interventions' ...

Food and drink: world food, all-day bottle bar and a special ArtattheHouse Jolly Boys Ale on tap

Rain or shine: indoor and outdoor spaces and wet-weather plan.

Performances by SLM Theatre, Holmfirth Soul Choir, and Scissett Youth Band.

  • Saturday 18 September 2021 - 10:00am - 5:00pm, Weekend of various art and craft activities, meet the makers, try your hand, items to buy, children's activities and much more.
  • Saturday 18 September 2021 - 11:30am, SRM Theatre presents 'Swan Song', a wryly comic tale of loneliness, ageing and the inexorable passing of time. Cliffe House Billiard Room: Saturday 11.30am; Sunday 2.30pm. Admission is free. A collection will be taken for local charities.
  • Saturday 18 September 2021 - 2:30pm, Holmfirth's Soul Choir will be singing in Cliffe House's Billiard Room at 2.30pm on Saturday September 18th. Classic songs from your favourite soul artists.
  • Sunday 19 September 2021 - 10:00am - 4:00pm, Weekend of various art and craft activities, meet the makers, try your hand, items to buy, children's activities and much more.
  • Sunday 19 September 2021 - 1:00pm, The Scissett Youth Band will be playing on Sunday, at 1pm, situated close to the bar behind the Coach House.
