Heritage Open Days - Castle Hill

About the event

Perched on Castle Hill, Victoria Tower was completed in 1899 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Queen Victoria's reign. The tower was renovated in 1960 when the top seven feet were removed, and now reaches almost 997 feet above sea level. Castle Hill contains diverse wildlife habitats and is a designated Local Nature Reserve and winner of the Green Flag Award for 2021.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic hand sanitiser will be provided, social distancing and face coverings will be encouraged and if necessary numbers will be limited within the building.
