Dates and venues

  • Wednesday 14 February 2024 - 2:00pm - 4:00pm, Join us for tea and cake with a talk from CART, Christian African Relief Trust about the work this local charity, based in Lockwood does; recycling educational, vocational and first aid items for projects in Africa.
  • Wednesday 13 March 2024 - 2:00pm - 4:00pm, Join us for tea and cake with a talk from the RSPB including the work that the organisation does to monitor birds in the area. This is of particular interest with the recent reopening of the Bird Room in the museum
  • Wednesday 10 April 2024 - 2:00pm - 4:00pm, This month's talk is by the West Yorkshire Archive Service. This really valuable service has moved to the Piazza Shopping Centre. A talk about what you can find should you venture through the doors.
  • Wednesday 8 May 2024 - 2:00pm - 4:00pm, This month we welcome representatives from the Yorkshire Air Ambulance who will describe the work of this highly thought of service and how they endeavour to deliver the crucial life saving service.
