About the event
23 June: The Battle for Orgreave by Yvette Vanson lets miners recount their own history, their economic and political struggles over decades and the trial they endured for 48 days in Sheffield when charged with riot at Orgreave – facing life imprisonment.
29 June: ‘Still the Enemy Within’ is an award-winning documentary that gives a unique insight into one of history’s most dramatic events: the 1984-85 Miners’ Strike. This is the raw, emotional and ultimately inspiring story of those who lived through Britain’s longest strike.
£2 per film.
