About the venue

    Opening times:

    Monday: 9.30 am to 5.00 pm;

    Tuesday: 9.30 am to 7.30 pm;

    Wednesday: 9.30 am to 5.00 pm;

    Thursday: 9.30 am to 7.30 pm;

    Friday: 9.30 am to 5.00 pm;

    Saturday: 9.30 am to 5.00 pm.

    Every library in Kirklees has a range of books available for members to borrow free of charge. It’s free to join; call in to your library with some ID.

    You can also borrow talking books, large print books, and at some libraries DVDs. We also offer e-books and e-audio. Search the library catalogue to see what’s available.

    Every library has public access computers that library members can use free of charge. You can also print for a small charge. We offer free basic IT help to anyone who would like to feel more confident using computers. One hour’s free Wifi is available at this location.

    Library staff will help you access information, council services, learning and volunteering opportunities. Some locations also have visitor information.

    Our local studies collection includes old maps, photographs and newspapers.
