  1. Buggy movers session for new mums,who want to get back in shape – Grandparents and dads who are looking after the baby are welcome to join too.


    An all round body workout tailored for post-natal women. Have you had a baby recently and want to get back in shape, but can't stand the thought of going to a gym, exercising on your own or leaving your baby?

    Why not exercise and make friends at the same time with Buggy movers?

    Buggy movers sessions are an hour long, and all you need is a baby, a buggy, and comfortable trainers or walking shoes. A Buggy movers session is not just a walk in the park. Each session involves brisk walking, stretching, strength work and some cardio-vascular exercises. The session finishes with a cool down.

    You'll meet new friends and also get useful tips and techniques for general fitness, adopting better posture and examples of safe lifting Buggy movers is a breath of fresh air helping mums get back in shape with a friendly buggy workout that's fun.

    We currently have classes running at Greenhead Park, Huddersfield and you can contact Jackie the instructor directly on 07950870950.

    Please wear sensible footwear, bring water to drink and dress for the weather. Bring small towel or blanket to use for floor exercises.Sessions will run unless the weather is severe - if in doubt please check our facebook page.

Events and activities

Activities

Regular meetings or activities, usually on a weekly or monthly basis, and exhibitions of more than a week.

Your activities will appear on our ‘Things to do’ pages. You can include any regular ongoing activities that people can join in with, such as scouts and guides, youth clubs, craft groups, dancing, sports clubs and gardening clubs.

Choose + Add activity to add details of your activity, step by step.

  2. Buggymovers is a fun fitness class for new mums wanting to get back into shape. It's simple exercise that tones and strengthens and is a great way to shift post baby weight without having to leave your baby or go to the gym.
