History

  1. The group was formed in 1991 by a few local Ataxia sufferers and since that time has provided help and support to Ataxians, Carers, and professionals involved with this condition based in the West Yorkshire area.
Meetings are quite informal and frequently speakers are invited to inform and entertain the membership.

More recently the group has become associated with the Nerve Centre in Kirklees and also has connections with the Neurological Alliance.
