N.b. If there is an out of date contact in place you need to delete this and add a new contact.

  1. Dewsbury Customer Service Centre is relocating to Dewsbury Library for a temporary period. We will return to the Walsh Building during summer 2024 with the date to be confirmed when full details are known. We will continue to offer all services currently offered in the Walsh Building.

    The Centre's opening hours are:

    Monday - 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
    Tuesday - 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
    Wednesday - 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
    Thursday - 10.00 am - 5.00 pm
    Friday - 9.00 am - 5.00 pm

    The centre offers support with all council enquiries and information including:

    • Council Tax

    • Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction

    • Kirklees Homes and Neighbourhoods

    • Housing Solutions

    • Senior Bus Passes

    • Disabled Travel

    • Self help computers and telephones are available for you to access council services.

    • We also offer a wide range of support and signposting to other services

    • Our partners from Homes and Neighbourhoods and Housing Solutions will continue to offer the services the offered in the Walsh Building
