  1. Honley Ladies Choir was formed around eighty years ago in the small village of Honley, West Yorkshire. We rehearse on Thursday evenings at St. Paul's Church, Armitage Bridge. Membership has steadily increased and now stands at around 80 making the choir one of the largest, and some would say liveliest, in the Huddersfield area. Music from many genres including classical, modern, jazz, pop, traditional and musical theatre is included in our repertoire. Over the years we have acquired a reputation for high standards and innovative performances - and having a good time!

  2. Honley Ladies Choir was established in 1946 and has thrived ever since. We welcome any lady who can pass a very simple voice test. Our aim is to sing to a high musical standard and have fun in the process. We have a very varied repertoire ranging from serious classical music like Vivaldi's Gloria through the whole spectrum of music to the latest pop releases. We perform concerts, cabaret nights, guest with other musical groups and take part in community events.
