Cleckheaton: today in Open Door Fortnight (Thursday, Friday, Saturday)

About the event

During Community Open Door Fortnight some local community groups would like to welcome you in to show you what they do, have a chat, and perhaps you might like to take part or become a volunteer.

Thursday 8th and 15th October

Cleckheaton Library Chess Group 10am to 1pm.

Step by Step: benefits advice, housing support, employment opportunities at Cleckheaton Methodist Church 10am to 12pm

Friday 9th and 16th October

Coffee morning at Cleckheaton Methodist Church 10am to 11.30am

Dementia Support & Activity Group at Cleckheaton Library 12.30pm to 2.30pm Booking required.

Snooker at Cleckheaton Methodist Church 1pm to 4pm

Saturday 17th October

The Meeting Place at Cleckheaton Methodist Church 11am to 2pm All welcome - warm space, hot drinks, food and activities.

With most activities you can just turn up, but some do require booking so please check. Most are free but several ask for donations for drinks, and some have a set fee.
