Battlefield Walking Tour and Lecture

About the event

Battlefield walking tour followed by a lecture with Warwick Louth. A guided walk across Adwalton Moor battlefield. Starting at 10:30am outside the visitors centre (in the courtyard) Roughly two hours, please wear suitable footwear for walking. Followed by a lecture on 17th century warfare, with specific reference to the manuals of the period. The lecture starts at 1:30pm, again meeting outside the visitor centre. Refreshments are provided for the lecture, please bring your own refreshments for the walk.
